EQF 3300 : Radon / thoron gas and daughter product monitor

The EQF 3300 is a high-performance monitoring device for the simultaneous detection of radon (²²²Rn), thoron (²²⁰Rn), and their decay products. Designed for demanding applications, it is ideal for use in workplaces, mining, geophysical investigations, and monitoring of air, soil gas, and water samples. Additionally, it is an indispensable tool for public safety measurements and environmental radiological monitoring.

Innovative technology for accurate results: The EQF 3300 utilizes alpha spectroscopy with four silicon detectors to precisely separate and quantify radon, thoron, and their progeny. This technology prevents long-term contamination from lead-210 (²¹⁰Pb), ensuring measurement accuracy and long-term stability. The processor-controlled rotary vane pump enables efficient sampling, while the elimination of desiccant cartridges reduces maintenance requirements.

Optionally, the EQF 3300 can be equipped with a gamma probe (NaI(Tl) detector), enabling 1024-channel MCA spectroscopy in the energy range of 25 keV to 3 MeV. This option allows for dose rate measurement and identification of specific nuclides.

Flexible sensor technology and expansions: The device features integrated sensors for humidity, temperature, pressure, and flow rate. Optional sensors are available for air, water, and process analysis, as well as wind measurements. With up to 16 programmable sampling cycles and 30 alarm thresholds, the EQF 3300 can be customized to meet your specific requirements.

Robust design and user-friendly operation: The EQF 3300 convinces with a color touchscreen display (6 x 9 cm) and extensive interfaces, including USB, RS232, RS485, and optional Wi-Fi. Collected data are stored on a 2 GB SD card and can be visualized and managed using dVISION software.

Accessories and calibration: The standard delivery includes a transport case, dust filters, calibration certificate (DAkkS-accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018), and more. Optional accessories include soil gas probes, exhalation hoods, and water ingress protection.
